If I’m doing 80 or 80 plus and passing cars I’m not getting over behind a slow car because you wanna go 82. Other than that I have no issue getting over. I’ll stay in the left lane if I’m going faster than the right. There’s been too many times I go to the right lane to be nice, cuz the guy behind me wants to go 82 while I’m going 80, but then I get stuck for half an hour cuz nobody will let me back in the left lane. If the right lane is open for the next few minutes I’ll move otherwise ppl just gotta settle for +10 to +15 mph over the limit. Or if I see a cop I’ll stay in the left lane bit slow down a bit to prevent anyone behind me from getting a ticket in case they didn’t see. Edit: after reading these comments and seeing all the admissions of self-appointed speed limit monitors (jerks by any other name), I think Spaniards may know to let through traffic pass regardless of speed from many years of having very lac enforcement of speed laws. These days we’ve got speed cameras. No fun.
