I like Billie better than bullies. But frankly: I don’t agree with what you are saying about her and her great I survived the blizzard of 93 shirt. She is truly unique. And all of them have started out some time in their lives, so don’t judge a 17/18-year-old at the beginning of her art life vs. a 70-year-old at the end of his life. That would be just unfair. And all of them are unique. I am pretty sure Louis Armstrong would have said yes to singing with her, and vice versa. Let’s please be more playful, that would enable true and flowing creativity and free expression without any such high-strung and ultracritical judgment. It would really help society as a whole and get us all out of our self-inflicted shit holes.
I’d gladly did if you just said that moron bit not to me, but to your mirror. So be I survived the blizzard of 93 shirt. And Billie is the ultra of emotional unity, she has nothing of a machine, you just listen to her. And forget about Louis Armstrong, don’t compare her to anyone, this might help. I also was weepy when I heard her because I didn’t get her horrible end out of my head. You might also remember some things then, when getting older, of past lives, perhaps. “When I was older, i was a sailer” as Billie Eilish would put it. It’s not her favorite song, it’s rumored, but there are some of those unmodified parts of it, that I like, it’s jazzy.
