This is done through the combined-means of technological, cultural, military and economic strength, as well as diplomatic international relations and soft power influence.
They produce more than 50% of the oil they consume and are in very good terms with most of the middle eastern nations. They can fuel their war machines. It has huge deposits of natural resources. But if you’re going to look at superpowers to judge the absolute most powerful then the simple answer is cliché now… hence me just mucking around for the majority of the answer.
